We will pick you up at your hotel, we will make a short trip to reach the Territory of Sloths, this beautiful privileged land is approximately 5 minutes from the town of La Fortuna. There We can observe one of the most beloved animals of our country, the popular sloth,that captivates us always with its tenderness and peculiar behavior slow. We travel approximately 1,500 meters of footpath,while our guide gives us great amount of information and explain the importance of protecting this species. Our specialized guides are experts in finding the sloths, so we can guarantee their observation. We must remember that the sloths are a lonely animal and that most of their time are sleeping and resting on the treetops. Lunch is included at the end of the tour.

The night tour La Fortuna is operated in Anura ambhibian conservation farm just 9 kilometers from the town, this project was started mainly for the conservation of the amphibians that live in La Fortuna and thus also facilitate their reproduction. On the night tour La Fortuna we are passionate about showing and educating our visitors with our beautiful wildlife, such as red-eyed frogs, glass frogs, gladiator frogs, bull frogs and many more. On the night tour you can also observe birds sleeping among the undergrowth and nocturnal mammals of the area. The land for the night tour has 3000 square meters and 12 pools which are surrounded by vegetation, these pools have an irrigation system to maintain a stable and humid environment that is very essential for the life of amphibians.

The day starts off with a transfer from your local Manuel Antonio area hotel to the Quepos Pez Vela Marina where the boat is docked. This is a short drive and you will likely pick up some other travelers as well. The cruise will take you along the gorgeous Manuel Antonio coast. You will pass by rolling green jungle covered hillsides that disappear into the sea, tropical islands and all around beautiful scenery. Eventually you will reach Playa Biesanz where the boat will stop for a break. You will be able to swim and water slide off the boat. Snorkeling gear will be provided to those that wish to do so. Manuel Antonio is not the best place to snorkel, but you may be able to see some tropical fish. Insider tip: The morning schedule is great for families and has more chances of seeing wildlife. Includes lunch, snacks, kayaks, and snorkeling gear.
