Join our La Boca Walking Tour to discover the most picturesque place in Buenos Aires! La Boca is the place where tango was born as a result of the bohemian and artistic culture of the immigrants. The houses where they lived now form a unique mix of colors that make La Boca one of the most attractive places in South America. We will begin our tour by learning about the history of the old industrial port of Buenos Aires, visiting the cove of the Riachuelo, the small river that is now the southern limit of the city. Next, we will see the monument to Benito Quinquela Martín, the famous Argentine popular artist who dedicated his life to seeing his birthplace thrive, thanks to whom La Boca is worldwide known for its vibrant colors. We will walk the famous little street Caminito, full of the colorful collective houses of the working-class immigrants in the Buenos Aires of the 1900s, who created a unique sense of identity that is a fundamental part of the city's culture. This is where Tango was born, so we will show you why and how it started, and what is represents today to Argentina and to the world. Our tour continues with a visit to the square of the volunteer firefighters, with beautiful artwork and murals that honor these heroes to the people of La Boca. Fileteado Art, a classic local way to decorate signs, is also one of the things we will pay attention to, especially on our walk. Passion is strong, and football is undoubtedly the biggest passion of the neighborhood; we will finish our tour seeing the Boca Juniors Football Stadium, home to the most celebrated and famous Argentine football team around the world.

Fast begins at 6:39 AM The Fast of Tamuz The 17th of Tamuz is a minor fast day in the Jewish calendar that marks the beginning of the Three Weeks, a period of mourning leading up to Tisha B’Av. It commemorates several tragic events in Jewish history, most notably the breach of the walls of Jerusalem before the destruction of the Second Temple. The fast lasts from dawn until nightfall and is a time for reflection, prayer, and remembrance of the hardships faced by the Jewish people throughout history. On our final day in Buenos Aires, which falls on a fast day, we’ll still make time to visit a few last meaningful sites before departure, thanks to a special arrangement with our hotel to securely store our luggage. So, grab a quick bite (if you're not fasting; fast begins at dawn) before we head out for an iconic visit to the San Telmo market on a Sunday! Check out of the hotel first and leave your luggage in a special storage room set aside for our group.

(Optional) La Recoleta Cemetery (Spanish: Cementerio de la Recoleta) is a cemetery located in the Recoleta neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It contains the graves of notable people, including Eva Perón, presidents of Argentina, Nobel Prize winners, the founder of the Argentine Navy, and a granddaughter of Napoleon. In 2011, the BBC hailed it as one of the world's best cemeteries, and in 2013, CNN listed it among the 10 most beautiful cemeteries in the world. Set in 5.5 hectares (14 acres), the site contains 4691 vaults, all above ground, of which 94 have been declared National Historical Monuments by the Argentine government and are protected by the state. The entrance to the cemetery is through neo-classical gates with tall Doric columns. The cemetery contains many elaborate marble mausoleums, decorated with statues, in a wide variety of architectural styles such as Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Baroque, and Neo-Gothic, and most materials used between 1880 and 1930 in the construction of tombs were imported from Paris and Milan. The entire cemetery is laid out in sections like city blocks, with wide tree-lined main walkways branching into sidewalks filled with mausoleums. These mausoleums are still being used by rich families in Argentina that have their own vault and keep their deceased there. Among many memorials are works by notable Argentine sculptors, Lola Mora and Luis Perlotti for instance. The tomb of Liliana Crociati de Szaszak, due to its unusual design, is of special interest.

Fast ends: 6:33 PM Arrivals and transfer to our hotel. Break fast with a pre-packaged lunch box. Iguazú Falls or Iguaçu Falls (Guarani: Chororõ Yguasu [ɕoɾo'ɾõ ɨɣʷa'su], Spanish: Cataratas del Iguazú [kataˈɾatas ðel iɣwaˈsu]; Portuguese: Cataratas do Iguaçu [kɐtɐˈɾatɐz du iɡwɐˈsu]; Tupi: Y Ûasu "big water") are waterfalls of the Iguazu River on the border of the Argentine province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Paraná. Together, they make up the largest waterfall system in the world. The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu. The Iguazu River rises near the heart of the city of Curitiba. For most of its course, the river flows through Brazil; however, most of the falls are on the Argentine side. Below its confluence with the San Antonio River, the Iguazu River forms the border between Argentina and Brazil. The name Iguazú comes from the Guarani or Tupi words "y" [ɨ], meaning "water", and "ûasú" [waˈsu], meaning "big". Legend has it that a deity planned to marry a beautiful woman named Naipí, who fled with her mortal lover Tarobá in a canoe. In a rage, the deity sliced the river, creating the waterfalls and condemning the lovers to an eternal fall. The first European to record the existence of the falls was the Spanish Conquistador Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca in 1541. It was inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2013.
