Thus, the musicians are members of the orchestras of the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonics, the Bavarian State Opera, the orchestras of the Frankfurt and Bavarian Radio, the Hof Symphony Orchestra, the Split Academy of Music, the Barenboim-Said Academy,… The desire to play chamber music together has been a recurring topic of discussion at the meetings, and so in 2018 the first concert in Berlin took place. After a really successful first concert, the desire to meet and perform together only grew stronger and was followed by concerts at the Ljubljana Festival, Imago Sloveniae, the Music Summer in Bohinj, Piran Music Evenings, Klassik in Burghof in Klagenfurt, the National House in Maribor, Nova Gorica and Celje, as well as the Silver Season Ticket of the Cankarjev dom. Mostnica Gorge and the Voje Valley are among the most beautiful and most visited natural attractions in Bohinj. Difficulty moderate Distance 11.8 km Duration 4:00 h Ascent 244 m Descent 244 m Highest point 788 m Lowest point 544 m MAP, GPS FILES, DESCRIPTION PROVIDED. The Mostnica is an alpine river with rapids and waterfalls, offering an interesting display of nature’s creativity through the Voje Valley and all the way to Stara Fužina. Just above Zois Manor, the stone, single-arch Devil’s Bridge spans over deep flumes high above the Mostnica river. It offers a dizzying view into the narrow troughs carved out of the limestone bedrock by the Mostnica river. The grassland of Voje pasture is the open middle part of the Mostnica valley, at an altitude of just slightly over 700 metres. The surface is covered with ground glacial moraine, and towards the south the pasture is closed by the terminal moraine dam. It is rich in water, since the Mostnica has several tributaries and at individual sites, water springs out of the ground. Planina Voje is in a typical glacial valley in the shape of the letter. Along the way, you can admire diverse flora and fauna and the remnants of the glacier. https://www.gaiagps.com/map/?loc=12.8/13.8601/46.3073&pubLink=P4yx44wqEYOXMLVTM2nLjvEV&folderId=5939660e-07a7-4e73-b57b-7946347b9fab

Difficulty moderate Distance 14 km Duration 5:12 h Ascent 738 m Descent 735 m Highest point 678 m Lowest point 474 m Lake Bled is surrounded by monadnock hills acting as guards and closing access points to the lake. Every single hill represents a popular and intriguing point of interest. Our path “From Hill to Hill around the Lake” connects these individual endpoints into a single unit – a ring of higher grounds above Lake Bled providing different viewpoints. Dobra gora is less known, less crowded and provides shelter for the animals. Straža offers a summer tobbogan, Mala Osojnica and Ojstrica are a paradise for photographers. And if you would like to take in the natural beauty and not meet many people on the way, then Stan would be your choice, where you can witness the famous Bohinj railway line from above. Višce provides the foreground of Bled Castle – an icon that does not need any introduction. All in all, the “From Hill to Hill” path provides a real joy for enthusiastic hikers. You need to be in a fairly good shape, as you will walk on this path for 5 hours and cover a total height difference of 766 m. This path can be walked in one go as a round trip or in shorter stages. https://www.gaiagps.com/public/YblIUDcGdya2DTwHxoIcEma8/ Event: Feel invited to the Bled Markets hapenning on the 19th and 20th August: - in front of GOZD BLED Agricultural and Forestry cooperative z.o.o., Za Žago 1A, every Saturday, from 9:00 to 12:00. - on ex-Petrol station Bled north, every Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 to 13:00.

Uroš has received numerous awards for his cuisine, which he bases on traditional Gorenjska cuisine, the most prestigious of which was the Michelin Star received in 2020, one of the first to receive a Michelin Star in Slovenia. CHOOSE THE SIMPLICITY OF FLAVOURS In addition to gourmet restaurants, you will also be well received at Radol'ca's authentic village inns, good pizzerias, well-kept hotel restaurants and other smaller culinary outlets. With the wide variety of cuisine and with something to suit every budget, there is good reason to stop off in Radovljica during your trip around the Julian Alps. Restaurants such as those that are part of the Taste Radol'ca collaboration, where the focus is on the best available, fresh, local and seasonal produce, are the best ones to seek out when looking for a meal that ticks all the required boxes, and where you can get friendly personal service and even have the opportunity to discuss your requirements directly with the chef! All the dishes below are either vegetarian or vegan, or suitable for pescatarians, and are also – due to my requirements - all gluten-free. As you emerge at the other side the trail then follows the old shepherd’s route before entering the peaceful Draga Valley, which takes you on your final leg into the historic village of Begunje. Popular short hike to the ancient church of St. Peter's above Begunje featuring stunning views of Lake Bled, Radovljica and Julian Alps mountain range. Proofs of pre-Christian worship were found in the natural cave at the top of the mountain, while first catholic church appears already in the 12th century. It is about 6 km long and belongs to the area of the Triglav National Park. The valley begins at the artificial lake Jasna and runs along the Pišnica stream in the direction of Razor (2601), which is one of the highest peaks in the Julian Alps. In the western part of the Krnica valley, a picturesque road winds to the highest Slovenian road crossing, Vršič. Along the way, there is a memorial park in Mali Tamar, dedicated to the dead mountaineers in the Kranjska Gora mountains. A forest path leads to the Krnica valley, which after 3 km leads to Planina in Klin, where the slopes of Prisank (2547 m) and Špik (2472 m) converge steeply. The riverbed of Suha Pišnica rises towards Vršič, and in the southern part the valley extends into the lap of Križ (2410 m), Razor (2601 m), Dovški Gamsovec (2440 m) and Prisank. hike JULIJANA TRAIL to Mojstrana
The trail leads us from the centre of Kranjska Gora and continues
The trail leads us from the centre of Kranjska Gora and continues along the left bank of the Sava Dolinka River, over Srednji Vrh and back to the valley, Gozd Martuljek, close to the Martuljški Slapovi waterfalls below Špik mountain. The village lies on the brinks of Triglav National Park, and the trail continues along the right bank of the Sava River, almost along the edges of Triglav National Park. A village which breathes with the mountains! The settlement of Gozd Martuljek gets its name from a stream, and the house names of the village of Srednji Vrh date from the period of the Turkish invasions. After World War I, this was a vibrant area with flour mills, ironworks, wood skids and charcoal burners, which are now being revived as a part of local tradition. The modern settlement of Gozd Martuljek is a wonderful mixture of unspoilt Alpine nature with mountain waterfalls, rich ethnographic heritage and the Martuljek mountain chain with its central rocky pyramid called Špik, giving the mountain faces a special charm. The murmur of the numerous waterfalls, which crisscross the world underneath the Martujek group in the summer mostly attracts nature lovers and hikers. In the winter, when the torrential waterfalls from underneath its slopes turn into an icy curtain, it becomes a natural wall for anyone wishing to try themselves at frozen waterfall climbing. The nicest view of the Martuljek mountain chain can be observed from the village of Srednji Vrh, from the opposite mountain chain of the Karavanke Mountains. The trail offers magnificent views of the mountains of Martuljek, Vrtaško Sleme, Trupejevo Poldne and Kepa in the Karavanke. The trail runs through a peaceful part of Mojstrana, below the steep rocks of Granisko (where a steep and panoramic ferrata protected climbing trail) runs to the Slovenian Alpine Museum at the entry point to the Vrata Valley.
