I’m up bright and early, ready for our first full-day tour. The boat is small, cozy, and perfect for close-up views of the majestic whales. We start with a morning tour at 10 AM to explore the waters and see what we can spot. Today, I was lucky enough to see minke whales, a few seals, and plenty of seabirds. The expert guides are incredibly knowledgeable, sharing facts about the North Atlantic right whales and other marine life. The rest of the day is spent relaxing and reflecting on the morning’s adventures.

Another beautiful morning, another opportunity to get out on the water! Today, we took the 2 PM tour, a slightly different route, which brought us closer to the cliffs and smaller coves around Deer Island. The guides are passionate about the ecosystem here, and I learned so much about the tides and how they influence whale migration. I even got a chance to ask questions about the local marine life, which made the trip even more engaging. The highlight of today? A whale breach—one of those moments you won’t forget.

For the final day of my adventure, I joined one last morning tour. The weather’s perfect, and the sea is calm—ideal conditions for spotting whales. This time, we see a humpback whale, a true showstopper. As the trip comes to an end, I take some time to reflect on the incredible experiences of the past few days. The team at Full Tide Ocean Safaris has made this trip unforgettable, and I’m already thinking about my next adventure in the Bay of Fundy.
